Piku Dual Dvdrip Subtitles English Kickass Torrent

Piku (lit. "Butterfly") is an Indian-Portuguese-French bilingual drama film directed by Shoojit Sircar, starring Deepika Padukone, Irrfan Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. It has been written jointly by Juhi Chaturvedi and Sircar. The film was released to positive reviews from critics but polarized public opinion in India upon release due to its controversial subject of polyandry, a practice that occurs in some regions of India when a woman marries several brothers in order to avoid being divorced or widowed without support. The film opened to a good response domestically and internationally and won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi. It also was nominated for the Lux New Face Award at the 2015 Marrakech International Film Festival, which was eventually won by Avinash Arun (for "I Am Kalam"). The film is a co-production between Jar Pictures and Films Division. The film is about an elderly couple, Giribabu (Amitabh Bachchan) and his wife Piku (Deepika Padukone), who live in Lajpat Nagar in Delhi with their daughter, Pinky (Ira Dubey); and their unmarried son, Bhaskor (Raghuvir Yadav). Giribabu's younger brother, Kanwar (Irrfan Khan), comes to stay with them after his wife (Ajay Devgan) leaves him. The film explores the relationship between Giribabu and his daughter Pinky; Kanwar; and Pinky's boyfriend, Bhaskor. It also shows the conflict between the two younger men who were raised by Piku and Giribabu, respectively. There are conflicts between Bhaskor and Kanwar over Kanwar's jealousy of Giribabu. The film received positive reviews from critics. Rachit Gupta of "Mint" called it "an enchanting portrayal of an impoverished family which is oddly united by its very ordinariness. Every life is touched by solitude and love, but this story has a stunningly simple take on the two. The film is a human, textured work... It's a parallel universe in a way. This is one of those rare films that not only captures the understated beauty of everyday life, but makes it seem as if its parallel universe – where ordinary people live ordinary lives – was always there." He also felt that "despite its straightforwardness and lack of gimmicks, it still manages to be as emotionally charged as any other mainstream Bollywood film." "The Wire" described the film as "a family drama with elements of entertainment and comedy". Doug O'Malley wrote: "There’s joy in this family. Happiness in the way it is held by the light of ordinary lives. And in the way they are themselves. Now it’s time to see what happens when you have a family that goes through these rites of passage." A critic from NDTV wrote "Piku is a tender, starkly beautiful drama about love, loneliness, selfishness and resentment... Shoojit Sircar has made an amazing film that I haven't watched since for two reasons: It's not very commercial and it's too uncomfortable to watch." The film won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi at the 67th National Film Awards. It was one of five films nominated by India at the 2016 International Cannes Film Festival. cfa1e77820
