The fourth season is already underway (with all episodes available to watch on iPlayer), and we're promised that Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) will be looking to expand his empire, which will inevitably lead to more cliff-hangers along the way. The fourth season was released in September and is its strongest to date. The series is a crime drama centred around the rise of Colombian drug cartels, while also focusing on the efforts made by law enforcement to stop them. Wagner Moura delivers a powerful performance as Pablo Escobar. The show is also a nice throwback to the crime dramas of the '80s and '90s such as The Godfather, Scarface and Goodfellas.
